You would think he had been with us all his life. The only clue of his past is his food issues with other dogs, but that is to be expected of course.

With people he is always friendly patient and happy, you could take his bone off him at any time and he won't do anything, just look at you as if to ask "Why are you taking my food away?"

Boof has been a great dog to us, and also a great producer.

Boof

Boof came to us later in his life, at almost 2 years of age.

We were looking for a stud dog with the Tonkawa lines, and were told of a dog in outback NSW.

Well travels took us to Boof, and in such a bad state was he that we decided we could not leave him, so instead made an offer to his owner and took him home.

Poor Boof, when we first seen him, he was so thin you could see every bone in his body, he had no fur at all, and was covered in fleas and mites, not only this but for all his life he had lived on a 1 meter chain in a horse stable on dirt.

We got him home, washed him, and fed him, and he has never looked back.

Although he had a hard start to life, he was so friendly you would never know he was treated so badly, from the minute we got him home, he had to fit in with other dogs, horses, pigs, rabbits and not to mention our kids!

He took it all in his stride, never has he had any problems with the kids or the other animals,
