The Amstaff Sporting Club was formed in January 2008 by a group of dedicated Amstaff enthusiasts.
The aim was to create a club that not only encourages Amstaffs in the show ring, but also brings the breed into the public eye in the sporting arena.
Amstaffs love to work, and an active dog is a happy dog, so what better way to encourage owners than by holding events specially catered to them.
The club is also active in the promotion of this sometimes misaligned breed, by attending expos and pet days through out the western region.
The committee is currently working towards the goals needed to gain affiliation with Dogs NSW so we can hold "sanctioned" events and thus our members can work towards gaining official titles.
We intend to run lots of "fun days" not only for Amstaffs, but for any breed of dog, to be able to join in is simple, just join DogsNSW and register your dog on the Associate Register, all at a very minimal cost.
You to can then become a member of our club and enjoy days out at Lure racing, Weight Pull, Fly Ball, Agility, Obedience, Rally events and lots of other fun things we have planned.
